The controls were maybe a bit tricky, but having played some helicopter missions in games like GTA or some helicopter sims, I still find them more arcade'y than simulation'y and in genera they were easy to get familiar with after a while :) I had fun, I was a bit surprised in the 4th level that there are some psychedelic shapes floating in the air, but noticed the text about freeflight and being in fact end-game after few seconds. I like the graphics style (I like lowpoly and retro look in general). It was funny to rescue capsules by crashing them from above or even rolling on the ground (if you plan to expand this idea further, you could limit the pitch/yaw/roll values for a successful rescue:P). A timer to show you your time on each level and overall for whole game would be nice addition as well :) I don't know if you handcrafted the positions of capsules (I don't want to call "people" things that I aggressively squashed with my heli :D) to rescue or they are randomly generated, but in the last playable level one of positions was hard (peak of one of the hills) - in a good way though, that was a good place requiring a bit of skill to properly land on. In general, a bit of ui polish would make this game superb in my opinion, the gameplay it self is challenging and rewarding :) Screenshot is an attempt that was somehow successful but probably shouldn't be :P

I agree with a lot of your critiques! I wanted to add some limiters and decrease the likelihood of flipping, but I found myself out of time and just added the reset button :P I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I had one of those too. Might have been the same one 😆
