I found more direct news on what happened. Turns out someone posted a mod that had underage characters, and the mod team there did not catch it in time before someone reported it.
Hopefully they can get things back in order, and only need punish the one who posted the mod instead of everyone. Sadly Discord has to use the sledgehammer method when dealing with such things, so everyone in the discord has to suffer the consequences.
