SO SO Good. My  favorite character is 1000% Scrumbo bc he looks just like this guy I know ! Crazy impressive how polished everything feels, the art is cohesive and dope!

What a blast! Felt good and polished for a jam, very nice.
Music is fun, and I love the character sprites.

crazy you guys were able to make this so polished in such a short amount of time!! love the crushed voice acting too gahaha, seriously this thing is so impressive and cool! the only issue i had in the whole game was i couldnt tell what keyboard button to press on the ready screen so i just went ham on my keyboard until the game started lol. yall should be super proud man this thing is sick !

very fun and stylish! definitely impressive in the span of a jam, although I kept losing to having my controls lock up while trying to mash fire with the default gun, but that might be a me problem since I was playing the web version. Great fun game!

I mean where to start, the intro is hilarious and meta. The graphics and sfx are perfect. The juice is off the charts (checks notes: oh yes trash dungeon dev, makes sense). Fantastic work.

Okay I know I'm hella biased but MAN was this a blast. Kept losing at the last boss and I got a whole buncha games to check out or else I would have been sure to see it all the way to the end but alas I must keep moving... I'm a big metal slug guy so this was already gonna be a game I liked, Scrumbo or no. (Wish I would have known cause I absolutely would have gone "HEAVY MACHINE GUN" like metal slug). Controls feel precise and the option to strafe is much appreciated. Would have loved a checkpoint but honestly making players beat it all in one go makes it a little more exhilarating. (It's also likely a 4 player balance thing too) I'm gonna try and see the end before the showcase at the very least!

On a serious note, If I haven't said it already, I'm so incredibly flattered, honored, and thankful that you all would think to include me in this awesome project. It means the world to me that I was towards the top of the list of folks that could kill a butt ton of aliens in a pinch if needed... Thanks for the opportunity, and for capturing all my Scrumbo-ness!

Very stylish run-and-gun game! Loved the pixel art, the animation, and particularly the blood splatter effect on the levels.

Unfortunately, I'm not the best at these types of games - so I didn't make it too far.

I did notice though that I generally preferred the default weapon to any of the upgrades - as mashing the fire button let's you get a high fire rate without worrying about ammo or the spread of the shotgun.

This is the kind of pixel art I look up to. No notes, just completely clean work that knocks my socks off.
The fact you all pulled off 4 player capabilities during a game jam is honestly impressive. Honestly, this is the stuff I dream of working on someday.

Some notes:
I do wish the "READY UP" screen had keyboard control prompts. This will probably get less relevant in context in a different environment.
If you hold the fire button down, the default gun shoots at a very slow rate, but if you spam the button you can get a higher fire rate. I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but it makes some of the other weapons with limited ammo less useful.
The initial spawn screen where you learn the controls is a little strange, and I'm not sure I fully got it all before it started moving.
Additionally, the size of the rooms are a little claustrophobic with one person, so I don't know how readability would work with 4. The references were also a bit too inside baseball for me, I didn't really get it.

The fact that I'm basically nitpicking though probably says it all; this is a really well made game. This is basically finished and ready to ship in a cabinet. Props to the team!

Extremely well done! Lots to be proud of here, I was particularly impressed with the variety of animations for enemy movement/death.

Oh my goodness this is so polished! I love the feel of the shotgun. doing the half life baracles in this style game was so cool too. I need to play more on 4 player , it so chaotic and fun!
