I liked the multiple potential endings, and the sniping eagle ending while having to wait for a signal. Wish it had a bit more content, particularly music/sfx

A simple platformer, but I really enjoyed it! I managed to see all the endings, too! Some background music and sound effects might have made it even better.

I really thought the art was neat. I like the platforms that fall apart as you step on them haha Mario days relived.

This is a short but very fun game! I like that there are little endings at the end that you can get. The player movement is really smooth an responsive and the different enemy types makes it unique and challenging!

Though, I found something that stopped me from progressing any further. It's that the breakable platforms doesn't reappear after being stepped on, so if the player steps on one of them and falls down then they won't really have a way to get back up.

Overall it's a really fun concept and a unique take on the theme!

Thanks for playing it! I wanted players to feel what it’s like to climb a mountain, where broken terrain doesn’t come back. But I forgot to add another way up when a platform breaks, so the only option is to reset the run. I’ll do my best to finish this game!

Thank you for playing my game! I’ll keep using this art style in future jams. I’ll try Our Entire World and leave a comment and rating!

This is such a well executed game concept! It was so much fun playing.
Theme: 4/5 (It's an expected interpretation of the theme, but it kind of only provides gameplay significance at the very end)
Fun: 5/5 (So fun!)
Controls: 5/5 (The controls were nice, really nice)
Graphics: 5/5 (Whatever you did with the artwork it absolutely is amazing!)
Audio: 1/5 (No audio? Idk if you didnt have time for it or its just broken but I can't hear anything)
Accessibility: 4/5 (It's a little bit of tutorial overboard. For each advice, just seeing it once is enough. Like show it for the first ladder but hide it for the second one.)
Originality: 4/5 (Getting signal by getting up to a mountain summit, is a bit within lines of what I expected. But it was still well done)

Developer

Thanks for the honest rating! About the audio: I focused on the player, enemies and map first, and planned to do the sound effects last, but I ran out of time. It’s a good lesson for the next jam. I’ll try Intercepted too and leave a rating and comment!

Hey, I really enjoyed this! The art style is super cute and I really wish I could just play it more. The jumping felt really smooth and the character controls well. Congrats on your entry!

Developer

Thank you! I’m going to finish this game, because I don’t like leaving things unfinished or unpolished. I’ll try West Point Bay and leave a comment and rating too!

This was an enjoyable experience, the art was cute and all the mechanics were well implemented. A bummer it is so short, I would have played it longer! Fun fact: Signals was the theme for a previous Ludum Dare and my team and I built our game on a very similar idea.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I’m going to finish it, because I hate leaving unfinished business lol. It’s cool that we had a similar idea for the theme, signal!

Loved the game!! A classic, well done, platform game. Simple yet super fun, and I really loved all the art. Congrats!!

Thank you so much, Ruddy! This is my first ever jam, so that means a lot. I’m going to try Arcade Jamming now and leave you a comment too!
