Your work looks relly great, but it gives me the impression that it might have been created using AI. Tell me honestly—did you really model the whole thing yourself?
Thanks! I appreciate the honest feedback. To be completely transparent, yes, I use AI-assisted tools in certain parts of my workflow, but I don't simply generate finished models and publish them as-is.
I start by imagining and designing the creatures, creating concepts and drawings in Adobe tools or Krita. Then I use Tripo to generate a rough 3D base and initial textures. From there, the creatures are refined and remodeled in Blender, sometimes almost entirely from scratch. I also edit and improve the textures in Krita, set up rigs using Rigify, and animate them in Blender or Mixamo.
Around 80% of the hands-on production work takes place in Blender, including modeling, cleanup, refinement, rigging, and preparing the final assets.
I'm also not working entirely alone. I have someone helping me with the project, so it's a collaborative effort.
I wouldn't claim that every single part was created from scratch without any AI assistance. However, the final assets go through a substantial creative and manual production process, and AI is just one of the tools we use along the way.
I believe in being transparent about how my work is made. Thanks for asking!
