Played about 300 choices across 9 dynasties (random picks, so none reached generation 8) with real number-key presses in my own browser, plus the page at 1280x800 and phone size. The keyboard play is quick, the "Not yet: ... (needs Snacks 3)" lines make the costs clear, the maximized frame fits both sizes, and there were 0 console errors. Item and grudge aging is the best part: my heron grudge went from "staring at the pond" to "an ancestral feud against tall birds, though nobody remembers why".
Two things that look unintended:
1. The current ruler can be offered as their own heir. In 5 of the 30 heir screens across my two seeds, the person holding the torch was one of the three choices. I picked it twice: "Gus takes the torch", then "Gus, who owns the only chair, holds the torch now", same for Moss.
Repro with your QA hooks: index.html?seed=1&keys=1,1,1,2,1,2,1,3,1,1,1,1,3,1,2,1,1,3,1,2,1,1,1,2,1,3,1,2
2. Arguing with the tax man gives "a grudge against the mayor for the permit". There's no permit in that event (the permit is the mayor's own event), so it reads like the wrong grudge got attached.
