What did you revive? What was your inspiration?
We revived the hacker culture of the old days: underground forums where “contracts” were accepted, viruses slipping into other people’s computers, green-on-black text terminals, and Windows XP, with its taskbar, Start menu and error dialogs. We were inspired by nostalgia for old office computers and those forums of leaked passwords and quiet, hidden jobs. We wanted players to feel like they’re breaking into someone else’s PC, as Glitch, a virus that hops between folders, opens files, dodges the antivirus and hides in the recycle bin.
How do you play your game? Is controller required?
You can play with keyboard, mouse and gamepad; a controller is not required. The mouse is used to navigate the forum and pick contracts. In a level you control Glitch with either keyboard or gamepad, and the on-screen key prompts switch automatically to match the device you’re using.
What asset packs did you use? What, if any, content is AI generated?
We didn’t use full asset packs. The graphics are SVGs created with AI assistance (Claude), and many interfaces are drawn in code. Sound effects are generated procedurally by a Python script. The music comes from other creators: tracks by BloodPixelHero and by scottishmist, the latter published on Freesound. The game’s code was developed with AI assistance (Claude Code).

Woa the whole interface and vibe of the game is so clean and technological! The music is awesome.
Definitely more engaging once you get into it and figure out what you're doing. I ended up spending about 20 minutes on the first mission and an average of about 3-4 on all the others, lol.
The mini-games for unlocking files are a neat way to diversify the gameplay, but I feel like the game could definitely use some more unforeseen hang-ups or alerts that you need to avoid along the way. Jumping between the different windows on the UI is clever and interesting at first, but can get a bit tedious when I'm really just trying to jump up to a corner to close the window and such so throwing hazards or enemy AI at me while I'm in the middle of the task would keep me more on-edge and give more of the feeling of being a hacker doing espionage things.
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, really useful! Glad it clicked once you got into it.
You’ve spotted a real gap: the antivirus agent and scanner only trigger when detection rises, so a clean, careful run feels like plain platforming. I’ll take your points into account and improve on them, especially the lack of unexpected threats mid-task and the tedium of closing windows.
Fun puzzle game! It took me a while to figure out how everything works, but once I did, I had a pretty enjoyable time. It kinda left me wanting more hahahah
I also loved the interface, especially the mission select screen. Nice job!
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the interface. More missions coming soon, so stay tuned.
