Really great concept and interesting mechanics! Definitely needs a bit of a more gradual introduction as night 1 seemed to be the most unforgiving.

I'm not sure how to get the bear. There's 2 bears, and at first I got the new one, but it didn't seem to do anything. Trying to get the old one, I'd push the cabinets and alert the children 2 times, and then when I'd pick up the teddy my "stamina" would just start depleting on its own, which would cause me to stomp and fail...
But I did like it!
Good idea, I like the mechanics, and the art is cute.
But I kept running into what I am guessing is a bug, where the ducks would trigger:
A. when i was in the same post code as them it seemed (wonky hitbox I mean).
And B. triggering randomly in spots where there was never a duck to begin with.
But other then that good..
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Actually, the ducks have a little hidden mechanic: when you're carrying one, there's a random chance it will squeak as you move! 🦆 So some of those unexpected noises were probably intentional rather than bugs.
That said, the hitbox issue might be real, so I'll definitely take a look at it!
Glad you enjoyed the concept, mechanics, and art! Thanks again! 😊
This is such a cool concept but wow is the first night really difficult. Not because it's that hard once you've figured out the mechanics, but because I don't know how any of the mechanics work and the game throws them all at you on night 1.
I didn't realize there was more than one Teddy in the room at first so I spent a long time trying to grab the wrong one. The ducks make squeaking noises randomly when you move, the old Teddy drains your sanity meter while you hold it, it took me a few deaths to figure these mechanics out. I didn't realize that standing in the light replenishes your sanity until after I realized that squeaking ducks replenishes sanity, so I thought I needed a duck for the solution to night one.
I think the game would be a lot more enjoyable and less confusing if you introduced the different mechanics one at a time and in an easier setting than night one.
But other than that, the aesthetics were great, the atmosphere is really creepy and the mechanics are well polished. I enjoyed the game a lot more once I was able to get through the first night
Thank you so much for playing and for taking the time to write such detailed feedback!
You're absolutely right about the learning curve. We probably introduced too many mechanics at once without giving players enough time to understand them, especially during the first night.
Introducing them gradually would definitely make the experience better, and it's something we'll keep in mind!
Really glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and the game once you got the hang of it. Thanks again!
Game was pretty fun, although I did find it kinda confusing on what teddy bear to get in the first level.
interesting concept! love the idea of sneaking around sleeping people. i did run into a softlock i think on one of the levels where i couldn't submit the old teddy bear.
Perhaps I'm a bit dense, but it was both odd and a bit of a relief that the successive levels were actually easier than the first. Neat puzzle game.
