How did you use AI?
Sky Patent was made with Claude by Anthropic: Claude Opus 5.5 in Claude Code for the building, and Claude chat for planning and design. - Code: Claude wrote all of the JavaScript (flight, the workshop, three missions and their bosses, saving, the sound engine), one batch at a time. I approved each batch's plan before it was built and playtested every build on a PC and an iPhone. - Art: there are no image files. Claude drew every sprite in code in a blueprint-chalk style, and the game bakes them when it loads. - Sound: the music and sound effects were composed in code with Claude. - Clever tricks: Claude wrote bot pilots that fly the missions on their own, and we used their runs to tune the scrap economy and the difficulty. Claude also wrote hundreds of automated Firefox checks, plus "probes" that deliberately break the game to prove each check catches the bug. The AI is in how the game was made, not in the gameplay.

How does your game fit the restriction?
It's built for a phone held sideways: drag anywhere to fly, the guns fire by themselves, and you tap to build in the workshop, so one thumb plays the whole game. It also works with a keyboard and mouse.

Loved this game, one of my favorites from the jam!
The blueprint art style is great.

I think it’s pretty fun, good art direction.

Thanks! Im glad the art style conveyed well.

Nice game.  I love how you have such a clear art style that makes seeing the enemies and bullets so easy compared to many bullet hell games I've played!  My recording system broke and didn't catch the right screen so I don't have a good playthrough video for you this time.

Thanks! I'm glad the Blueprint style held well as I wasn't too sure. If I had more time I would have added more levels but due to a family emergency I had to ship it with only 3. Thanks for playing!

Developer

Thank you and it is a bug that sometimes appears. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency I was not able to flesh out this particular bug. Sorry about that!
