What did you revive? What was your inspiration?
Battle City (Namco, 1985) – the NES tank game where you guard an eagle behind brick walls. We brought it back as a toy-army roguelite in a backyard sandbox: you still drive a little tank and defend the eagle, but now you build the fort yourself during combat (toy blocks, sandbags, mines and 8 toy defences), level up with Vampire Survivors-style upgrades, and survive endless waves and a Siege Engine boss. (The Embers Remember: the original is 40 years old.)

How do you play your game? Is controller required?
Keyboard and mouse, no controller needed. Plays in the browser, or download for Windows, macOS and Linux. WASD to drive (the tank auto-fires; hold left mouse to aim), number keys or the build bar to pick a defence, left click to place it, click a placed defence to upgrade it, Q for the eagle shield, E to repair the eagle, Esc to pause.

What asset packs did you use? What, if any, content is AI generated?
Asset packs: Retro Arsenal by Archanor VFX (purchased, Unity Asset Store) for sound effects and effect textures; Kenney (CC0) for UI elements and some sounds; music "Waunobe March" by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com, CC BY 4.0). AI: the game's code, and the Blender scripts that build the 3D toy models, were written with AI assistance. No AI-generated images, audio or music are in the game (sounds and music come from the packs above).

Really well made game, I loved it! The mechanics feel solid, the visuals look great, and the sound design is excellent. You can tell a lot of work went into every part of it. Great job!

Feels really solid! The upgrades are fun, the aesthetic is great, and I like the tracks in the sand showing the current path of enemies. I didn't realize I could use the blocks to change enemy paths and funnel them a specific way at first.

I couldn't figure out how to heal myself or my turrets, and I would have liked if the turret menus closed automatically if I drove away from them.
