that was so interesting 👀 definitely a unique vibe / even if the volumes and stuff were meant to be different i think i weirdly like it how it is 😅fascinating concept/cool vibes/yes
Nice concept, my only feedback is similar to what has already been said, which is that the mix is too quiet overall and it’s hard to hear the non-heartbeat sounds. I highly recommend using a true peak limiter to get the volume level right without clipping. Keep it up!
Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, I messed around with the mixing part quite a lot and in the end I changed it for the worse I think. I'm always struggling with making songs sound well-mixed on multiple devices. I often adjust it so it sounds good on one device, but then some parts (like the heartbeat) are way too loud on other devices. For example, I really like how my song sounds on my IPhone and Macbook Speakers, so I kept it. But listening again on my headphones, the heart beat is way too loud, like you and the other person described. I will definetely look into a true peak limiter. Again, thank you!
A very clever use of the theme, but I feel like the dramatic sections are a touch too quiet and the transitions are a bit too abrupt. Still very solid!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I was struggling a bit with the mixing of the two parts and how to combine them. It should feel like its fading in and out, but I can see how that can feel very abrupt.
I like the use of the heartbeat throughout this piece, a really nice touch.
