I played through the tutorial and made two attempts at the main game. Overall, I thought the waveform matching was intuitive, the controls were responsive, and the interface was easy to work with.
I did run into what seems like a bug on one of the later signals, I believe the third-to-last task.
Both times, I could match the frequency and amplitude but couldn’t get the third slider to align the waveform. It looked like I needed to push it slightly beyond the available range.
I eventually ran out of time on both attempts.
The gameplay interface is well done, and the music and sound effects fit nicely.
Visually, though, the character portraits, photographic backgrounds, and equipment interface feel like they’re from different art styles.
I also found most of the puzzles fairly easy once I understood the controls. A little more variety or complexity as the game progresses could help keep things interesting.
Overall, a solid interpretation of the jam theme with an approachable core mechanic. I think addressing that waveform issue and building on the puzzle variety would go a long way. Nice work!
