OpenAI Codex; Suno v6
How I built it / process notes
Built during the jam as a TypeScript / Canvas 2D browser game. Iterated on deterministic stealth rules, authored twelve levels, verified every level with a solver, and checked their solutions through real browser keyboard controls. All artwork is drawn procedurally in code. Suno v6 generated the instrumental BGM, with a softened looping transition and normalized loudness; Web Audio synthesizes short effects. Tested undo, saved progress, mobile layout and touch controls. Build tooling: Vite and tsc-rs.
How does your game use the theme?
The theme TRICK is the core mechanic: send rattling wind-up spiders to lure homeowners away from the candy, and freeze inside a ghost costume to trick them into seeing a Halloween decoration. Collect every treat and escape back to the gate.

The game is simple to understand but becomes increasingly difficult to master as you progress through the levels.
I can easily imagine this becoming a successful mobile game. With infinite randomly generated levels, a variety of unlockable spider types, and features such as limited Undo Moves that regenerate over time (or pay for more moves), it has the potential to keep players engaged for a long time.
It's the kind of game I could see people pulling out on their phones while waiting for a train, bus, or appointment. Easy to pick up, difficult to put down.
very cute game! please make keyboard support any language, not only eng
