The writing is like poetry, and it feels so deeply personal and real. The way you arrange shapes on the page, the way you use repetition, that's what really got me. I have read a lot of horror, but I've never read anything like this before.
I love how when I scroll through it, it becomes a completely different experience to flipping through it with the arrow keys - the former is using the repetitiveness to make a deeper point, and the latter almost feels like an animation / game where the gradual changes create liveliness. Sorry if that doesn't make any sense I'm struggling to explain what I mean.
For example, "Important things must be said three times" reads as being written three times back to back when I scroll through it with my mouse wheel, but when I navigate using the arrow keys, where it flips directly to the next page, it reads as being written down a total of two times, with the second time being added to the first one. It left a lasting impression on me. I'm sure reading it as a physically printed book would provide yet another different experience.
I've read through it a few times now and I think some of it is extremely personal, too deep to know the exact context of, but still relatable. The theme of connecting ghosts / spirits to attachment in relationships, it's beautiful.
This is the kind of artistic uniqueness I aspire to have with my work one day. Really well done!
