Played the full lesson run and match one on desktop with real keys and mouse. It ate me: 0 candies, all four fingers gone by round 4. Fair loss, it is just better at watching cups than I am at hiding them.
What works: the lessons teach each move by making you do it right there (slide one cup, swing two round each other, wheel to spread, flick the candy, peek, the finger), and the finger counter doubling as your lives is a great piece of dread. Watching it hide the candy at the start of each round, and the back of its head turning when it looks away, reads clearly. No errors in the console for the whole match, and it loaded clean on a phone held sideways too.
One small thing: the title screen says "Hold a cup's number (1-4)", but there are only ever three cups; 4 is the item key. Something like "(1-3)" plus "4 uses an item" would save a confused press.
