Cocolito Collective: saying hi Sticky

Hey everyone! I make small web games under Cocolito Collective (https://cocolitocollective.itch.io/). Thanks for the invite to say hi.

I don’t use a game engine at all. Everything I make is built straight for the browser in plain web code, so it runs right on the page with nothing to download.

Here’s how I usually work. Every project starts with a handful of concept cards, and each one is paired with an art style I’ve already studied and added to my own style library. Once I pick one, I draw the first set of assets in code, so the art and the game share the same look from the start. The build itself is AI-assisted with Claude, and I playtest in Firefox the whole way through. I try to get the core loop feeling fun before I spend more time on the looks.

I don’t have an idea for this one yet. Humans VS AI is a fun theme for someone who builds next to an AI every day, so I’m curious where it’ll take me.

Welcome to the jam, Cocolito! 👋

It's awesome to have you here. Your approach—building everything in pure web code without heavy engines, relying on studied art styles and AI-assisted workflows with Claude—is super inspiring.

The "Humans VS AI" theme should definitely offer a lot of interesting angles for someone who codes side-by-side with an AI daily. Whether you end up leaning into a narrative experiment, a meta-mechanic about human input vs machine logic, or a pure visual showcase like your previous work, I'm really looking forward to seeing what you cook up.

Take your time exploring ideas, and feel free to share any concept cards or early browser tests here as you brainstorm. Have fun! 🎨💻✨
