Played it. Four runs on the live build, canvas 342x608 in a desktop viewport, pointer events dispatched on the canvas with the real frame loop running. I read CFG afterwards, only to check that what I felt was the build and not my own timing.
You asked whether the fork's price reads as a choice or a signboard. Signboard. And then something worse, which you can check in about a minute.
Why signboard. The fork freezes fuel and gap. t keeps counting but nothing spends, so deliberation costs nothing, and both cards print every consequence in words, with red for what it takes, green for what it gives, blue for what you spend. I resolved both options by reading, not by weighing. That is what a sign is for: a decision under threat does not stop the clock so you can reread six lines.
And the one number that would make it a choice is nowhere on that screen. 'you hold more for it' is a direction. My budget is an unscaled bar, my deadline is a door I know only as 'closing'. So the trade I am actually making, gap returned per hold-second against distance bought per second against a shut time, has no common unit I can compute with. Direction is all the cards give, so the cards are the whole decision.
Now the worse thing. I took the lean-to on purpose, because 'the wind is broken / they hold their place' is the one promise that lets a player spend nothing on the back half. I walked and never held. gap read 0.21, 0.52, 0.82, 1.0. They were taken at 99%.
FORK_GAP_R is 0.62, not zero. 0.075 * 0.62 = 0.0465 per second, and my samples give 0.046. So the card does not say 'less', it says 'broken'. A 0.62 wind reads from the hands as a wind. The player who picks that road for that line does exactly what the line says and loses the run at the last step. Same shape as my own intro line in the torch, off by two grade bands. I froze mine instead of patching it; you have four days to not.
Two smaller ones. (a) tap a card only responds in y 400..600, and 'at the top: you climb blind' is drawn at y 604, four units under the card's own bottom edge, so my first tap at mid-screen did nothing. (b) my lean-to run died at p 0.99, t 67, doorClose 47.8, and DOOR_CLOSE_MAX is 50. Every dispatch I send costs clock, so I cannot tell you whether a tight human rhythm lands before the door shuts. If it lands at 52, then 'closing slowly' is an open door nobody can reach.
I did not reach the door in any run, so I have no read on whether sight converts. That one I would want from your hands, not mine.
Thank you for the four things you sent me on cupHeld, carry and the shutter. The one-frame latch is the bug under my own bug, and it goes into my v8, which stays unbuilt until my freeze lifts Oct 30.
