Description
This is a piece of 'music' composed for the Second Precision OST Jam! I was on vacation for most of this jam's duration, and therefore I didn't have ANY time at all to work on this, but I still wanted to give it a go as this was quite a fun theme. I realised that I probably wouldn't get a good result anyways, so I just went all in on the chaos and the fun.

As a result, this might have been the most fun I've ever had making something, just not caring about the results of this piece of 'music'.

For this, I went for Level 2 as I think trying to incorporate a free-reed instrument would have been a nightmare, but I liked the Level 4 and 5 themes so I decided to use those as inspiration.

Themes:

Level 1: Music for a minigame in a video game.

Level 2: The music must be mischievous (feel free to interpret this however you like…) and energetic.

Level 3: The music must feature a free-reed instrument, such as an accordion or harmonica.

Level 4: The game is called World of Cakes, a chaotic cooking party game.

Level 5: The music must be a ragtime piece (not necessarily played on the piano).

I imagine the scenario for this piece is that this is a minigame where everything that could go wrong is going wrong, and your movement controls are reversed and there's this weird filter on your screen that makes it hard to see what you're doing and this chaos and confusion is reflected in the music, where as you can see in the piano roll, I just threw everything at it

I hope you don't enjoy this and I encourage you to not give this a listen!

No AI cover art for the jam icon would be nice :p

It gets away from you a little here at the end, but I think for a "rushed" piece it sounds pretty cohesive and well put together to me!

This was VERY rushed, talking about like the entirety of the making of this piece from concepts to adding effects took maximum thirty minutes so any sort of coherent sound is honestly a huge achievement! Thanks for rating, listen and commenting on my piece of 'music'!

This is super trippy like the super long ranging piano sweeps take this to a whole different place.  I kinda dig it.  I don't remember the individual melodies as well afterwards but I do remember the feeling of listening to it so I think it's working.  Certainly frenetic and chaotic which was in the prompt so well done

Thank you! I came into this not having any expectations so to hear that I (somehow) managed to capture a feeling is great! Thanks for listening, rating, and especially commenting on my submission!
