The itch.io Halloween Sale 2026 is live! It started October 25th at 10:00 AM PT and runs until November 4th at 10:00 AM PT, so there are still a few days left (and Halloween falls right in the middle).

This is our biggest Halloween Sale yet, with over 46,000 projects on sale from more than 7,400 creator sales. That includes:

• 6,100+ games
• 24,800+ game assets
• 2,900+ tabletop games
• 1,900+ tools
• 1,200+ soundtracks
• 1,300+ books and 500+ comics

What’s new in the Sale Explorer

The sale page uses the Sale Explorer we introduced during the Summer Sale, so you can filter by tags, exclude the ones you don’t want, and filter by final sale price. We’ve added a few things for this sale:

• Search: you can now search the sale by title and keyword
• Top sellers: a new sort option that ranks projects by how well they’re selling
• Truly on sale: we’ve changed which projects show up so the Sale Explorer focuses on limited-time discounts, rather than projects that are on sale all the time

For picks based on what’s already in your library, check your personalized on-sale recommendations, or see what’s discounted from creators you follow.

About the banner

This year’s sale banner is a 3D graveyard scene rendered in real time in your browser! We found assets available on itch.io, built the scene in Blender, then exported it for rendering using the PSX aesthetic that you may be familiar with.
