I imagine World of Cakes as a low poly 3D GDR that doesn't take himself too seriously. A world heavily cooking based where the protagonist absolutely doesn't want and doesn't want to know how to cook. (Spoiler: he's forced to do it once and ended up killing god).
Being the protagonist the worst chef in the world, cooking for him is totally optional (and also a brutal minigame).

Talking about the creative process, the only thing I remember is that I've started the project playing The Entertainer and then immediately fainted. When I woke up, this shit appeared.
