This game is so simple in concept. But the presentation and polish make it so addicting! I don't seem to be able to yank him but that fine. My sword is a helicopter anyway lol.
Hi! Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I also noticed that the yank force seems to behave a little differently depending on the PC, so that’s definitely one of the things I’ll look into post-jam. I’m glad you still had fun with the sword though! xD
This game is Fantastic, blows me away how much fun i was having. Its simple, but still intresting. the vibes and art... perfect.
Well done, it is shocking how you made this in 72 hours. Its very poslished. The only thing is i found myself wishing it was a bit more challenging, espeically when you get further in, but maybe i have the attention span of a two year old. either way, its fantasic.
Thank you!! It means a lot to hear that you enjoyed it! Honestly, I barely got any sleep during those 72 hours lol. And unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to work on the enemy progression, but I’m planning to keep working on it post-jam! I’ll be improving the waves/enemy system and making them better :D
Good game, very polished. Very fun and it makes you want to use the cat skill, but you want to preserve when you need, oh what a doubt. Very good game design, congratulations!
PS: Love to this title, gives Isekai title vibes
Yesss, I love seeing people use the cat skill for different purposes especially when it’s something I didn’t even think about when I implemented it lol. I’m glad it can fit into your own strategies!
Also, thank you for noticing the title lol. That’s exactly the vibe I was going for xD
Was very fun! My only nitpick is having to grab the sword after leveling up instead of it going to where I was clicking, but I love it nonetheless!
Thank you for the feedback! And honestly, that’s not nitpicking at all. I actually noticed that it's hard to grab the sword again after choosing a skill even after I tried adding the short invulnerability period for Hero.. I might actually adapt your suggestion in a future update! I really appreciate it :D
The intro cutscene is really great. Took me a bit to get used to some of the mechanics, but once I managed to get going it was pretty fun. Even the cat was useful every now and then.
I really appreciate that! Honestly, even when I playtested it myself, I found it super hard at first too until I got used to the controls lol. Thank you for playing! :D
Super cool game, feels extremely polished. The art is amazing and the intro is freaking cinematic! This is a very original take on a v survivor where you don't control movements, love it. I couldn't get super far in the upgrades so maybe you already did this, but would be cool to start getting some auto attacks.
Thank you so much!! I was really hoping the sword controls wouldn’t be a flop lol, so I’m glad you enjoyed them!
To bad I didn’t have enough time to add auto attacks yet. But I do plan to keep working on the game after the jam, so I’ll definitely consider adding an auto attack skill in the future! :))
100% and getting some permanent upgrades like in vampire survivor coule make this a great steam game
This was great fun. Loved the intro cutscene, really gave context to what was going on. The gameplay was good fun and I enjoyed the strategy of deciding which upgrades to pick. The cats did feel a little irrelevant to the game but apart from that it was brilliant!
Hi! Thank you so much for playing! It means a lot that you liked the intro. And for the cat part, that’s totally fair lol. I think after the jam I want to tweak it a bit more to make the cat feel more intuitive and useful. Thank you for the feedback! :D
This is great! Really cute and interesting concept. Mechanics play well and are also very challenging, makes for a good experience to keep coming back to. I'm a sucker for picking upgrades on level up as well!
Thank you so much for playing! I’m really glad to hear you had fun :D
