Hello birbs, I need some help for my Novembird submission this jam. This is going to be my 2nd VN so I’m gonna pretend like I’m still a newbie ;D If you’re reading this and unsure of whether to join the jam or not you should!
I’m looking for some volunteer sprite artists and musician specifically with the following work estimation:
Sprite Artist: 4 characters total (3 sprites with 5 variations each, and 1 sprite with 2 variations)
Musician: 2-3 tracks (preferably if you’ve created somber or dramatic tracks)
About the project: Elias once thought hope akin to a passerine—it comes and goes and leaves nothing but loss. Under decrees passed so quickly to even name, the state of Imair systematically tore his world apart: first the infrastructure, then healthcare, then the love of his life. Pushed to despair, the father decides to turn away from the creeping devastation. Along with his child they flee towards the border until their path collides with Raviel, a war journalist who refuses to look away. Despite their differences, the group decides to join forces, hoping to slip through the chaos unnoticed. Elias believes Raviel is just another civilian running from the frontlines, but Raviel harbors a secret burden that threatens to drag Elias and his child directly back into the crosshairs of the state.
The Passerine (title pending) is a VN about the reality of genocide, a story of loss and the hope that sprouts from even the most despairing of scenarios.
