Steering a flashlight with your actual hand is a great hook, and the ornate frames and backdrops look lovely.

Two things I hit on your itch page (build 20131030):

- The page says the complete game can be played with mouse and keyboard, but without a webcam I couldn't get into a room. The LOCAL CAMERA CALIBRATION screen only has START CAMERA and ENTER ESCAPE ROOM, and ENTER stays disabled until all three gesture tests pass. The screen's own text says a webcam is required and the mouse is only for menus. There's no skip or back button, so a voter with no camera, or who says no to the permission prompt, is stuck there until they reload. Either a mouse-steered light or toning down the page text would fix the mismatch.

- Pressing Esc twice in a room stacks two pause menus, and then RESUME does nothing when you click it. The Esc handler calls the pause function every time with no "already open" check, and it wires RESUME with document.querySelector("#resume"), which grabs the first (bottom) copy, so the one on top has no listener. The X still works, once per Esc press. To reach a room without a camera I had to force-enable the ENTER button in DevTools, but the double-Esc part was plain key presses and clicks. The i journal uses the same modal code, so it can probably stack the same way (from the code, not tested).

Small one: the browser tab still says "HANDLIGHT: THE FIVE ROOMS" (the title tag in index.html).
