This sounds like such a fun one A calm ringed gas giant with a Great Red Spot storm, filling the frame with the rings cutting across it, is a great opening world, and eight planets going from calm to hostile is a cool arc. I'm curious: do you picture the planet sitting off to one side so the center stays quiet for the ship and meteoroid?
