U expect far too much from ppl who have no concept of responsibility—people who have never truly "learned" anything in the proper sense of the word. They operate on the principle that a verbal agreement is just that—a verbal agreement and if things go south well... that’s what lawyers are for. In essence, they’ve ceased to be human and have become mere bio organisms and believe me their own children will eventually take revenge on them for everything)))
