Unlike other comments, I didn't really have any issue with the light, but I did find the difficulty of the monster reaching me to be too hard for me to really progress. I don't play this genre of game, however, so it could be tuned fine for others who do!

Bro, you're awesome! From what I can see, the game is giving you guys a hard time. I thought it would be easier, but you get used to it after a while. Thanks for trying my game, and I hope you liked it.

The monster looks cool and the doors opening and closing is a cool mechanic! The fullscreen button and how-to-play screen are nice too.

The flashlight following the mouse when standing still but the walking direction when moving was a bit disorienting, maybe stick to one? I also had trouble seeing the player, and I couldn't find a single key, so a small hint where to look would help. Also, the Exit button crashes the game on web. I had the same issue in mine, hiding it in the web build fixes that.

Keep it up!

Thank you so much for your comment, it helps me improve. I decided to add the flashlight because it didn't make sense to walk in one direction and have it point in another. The key is there, but the idea is to search room by room with the flashlight, so the game isn't too easy. The player issue was because if I made the background too light, the keys and the enemy would be too easy to spot. Since this is a horror game, the fun would be in taking you by surprise to create a good scare. And lastly, about exiting, I'm really new to this; in fact, this is the first video game I've ever made. I honestly didn't know that happened in the browser, because when I click "exit" on the executable, the tab closes, so I didn't realize that was the issue. Thanks for playing it, and even if it wasn't the best experience. And I was about to give up because of the time, because I joined the jam while I was studying, so after school I have to get home to play the game, so that's why it has some flaws. I hope you had fun :).

Searching room by room in the dark makes a lot of sense for a horror game. And don't worry about the exit button, I only found out about that one myself during this jam haha. This is my first jam game too, so I know how hard it is to finish something next to everything else. Really impressive that you didn't give up and submitted it. Looking forward to your next game!

Thanks, bro. I wanted to tell you something: of all the games I've found in the jam, yours has been the most entertaining, both in gameplay and visuals. I'm trying to beat your record. Congratulations on your game!

Thanks, that genuinely means a lot!

Controls are a little bit confusing. Would be better to control the light also while moving. But it flips always :D But MOnster looked really cool!

Thanks for your input. You can control the light, but only when you're standing still. It didn't make sense that the flashlight would point in another direction while you were walking. As for the controls, I thought the best way would be to use WASD and the arrow keys for movement because it's the most traditional, and the E key for interaction because it seems more accessible to me. Anyway, thanks for playing the game.
