Design note on teaching two verbs in one swipe (penguins slide / bunnies hop):
Puzzle 1 should force exactly one animal type to move usefully — if both species respond on the same first swipe and only one was needed, strangers call the other “broken.” Caption under the board: “Swipe moves everyone. Penguins keep going; bunnies hop one.” Keep that above the fold on mobile.
First “hard” feeling usually isn’t hardness — it’s simultaneous unwanted motion. Isolate that beat before multi-home boards. Undo (Z) is good; flash which animal last blocked so a fail teaches.
I’ll try a cold pass and report the first harbour-level where I naturally stop if the canvas runs clean.
