Very interesting idea!! I love the multiple types of "weapons" there are that help depending on when it's time to hunt ghosts or get haunted by zombies (see what I did there?)
Gonna point out the odd movement someone else mentioned some more, hopefully this helps!: When moving with 1 key pressed (using keyboard), I notice it moves diagonally rather than straight, but pressing 2 keys will start moving the character straight. maybe finding some way to flip the movement could work? I can't really tell you cuz I'm no programmer haha. I could see how this happened cuz it's isometric, but as the player it does initially confuse me
I see what you did there, yes :D Thanks! As for the movement, that's how I coded it because of the isometric world. When the character was walking top-down style, it looked like they were walking diagonally, so my instinct was to flip that. But yeah, if more than one person says it's weird, means it's not just personal preference. Thanks for pointing out, I'll explore other options.
Kinda like an isometric End of Ember. Which is on-brand with this game jam (ey rhyme). Noice.
Very interesting game! I love the isometric perspective but the movement felt a bit weird for me (which I suspect due to the isometric perspective). I love the lil animation of the zombie and the ghost! The environment also looks awesome! Overall, this was a fun game with an interesting plot! Great work!!

I love the isometric perspective and pixel combination. Movement controls felt slightly odd but you get used to it pretty quickly. My favourite was going to the souls to get hearts. Great job!

loved the plot of the game, but i am not on mouse - and controls on trackpad are kind hard. so will pick it back up in sometime while at home. cool work though !!! kudos
