Rituals, symbols to apply to equipment, the ability to corrupt creatures, marked creatures with altered behavior, the first mini-boss, and more.
Also, if you don't mind, I'd really appreciate some honest feedback: how do you feel about the game's art being entirely AI-generated?
The game is getting close to v0.1 and I'm starting to think about marketing, and I've run into a wave of hate toward AI art that's way bigger than I expected. To be clear, I do plan to rework the visuals: pick one consistent art style, set proper rules for it, and I know all of that really matters. It just wasn't realistic for me at this early stage of development, especially since the project already has around 5,000 images.
Would AI art put you off trying the game?
One more thing I'd love to know: what do you actually expect from a browser game that looks like this? My impression is that when players see a flat, static scene, they don't even try to get past the first few minutes, so they never get to see how deep the game actually goes or what it lets you do.
What would make you stick around long enough to find out? A short trailer, a quick tutorial, something happening on screen right away?
