I'll be honest: I didn't feel my influence on the result in this game. It felt like everything was decided by randomness.

Thank you, honest feedback is the most valuable thing, in my opinion. You might be right, it's a jam game after all, and even though I focused mostly on the game design side, since we're drawing random cards, all sorts of RNG comes into play, and I'm not sure how much I've been able to reduce that in such a short time. There are 16 cards in the game, and when you draw a new card, the chances of getting them aren't all equal to prevent RNG. I basically categorized the cards into 3 types, and the probability of each type appearing changes from time to time. For example, if you don't have a damage card, the probability of getting one increases. Or, if you have a draw card, the probability of getting another card of the same type decreases. I tried to make changes to the algorithm with these 3-5 chance probabilities, but I'm not sure if I've reduced the chance factor enough.
