Thanks for playing AI WORMS and for the kind words! TUNAS has good graphics and music, and defending the last Archive Torch is a great take on the theme. I struggled a bit with the keyboard controls in my browser, though it was early and I hadn't had my coffee yet! Nice work.
Really an ambitious entry for a game jam! 👍
I like the over-the-shoulder 3rd person perspective; I prefer this a lot over the standard FPS. Enemies are easily identifiable and their projectiles gives the player a fair chance to dodge without being too punishing. And the objectives are presented clearly so there is no confusion or trial/error to be made by the player.
One area of improvement I can help with is the UI. Currently, the game info like objectives and team health covers a considerable amount of the viewport. In my opinion, for shooters & racing games, the game UI has to be as minimal as possible; because shooters & racing games rely heavily on what the player can perceive directly through the camera. Info should only be available when it's actionable (e.g., when taking damage). Helps with the immersion too.
Overall I would say the strength of this game is the "Fun" pillar, as the objective and controls are easily understood, so the player can jump right in. Great work!
Thanks for playing the game! And I honestly appreciate your feedback!
I realy like the story and setting idea! Also the landing with the boat is nice! What I'm missing is a bit more intro into controls and gameplay during the first mission. There are a lot of elements with text and its was bit unclear where to got :)
I liked. I wanted to make a walkthrough shooter myself. Great big level, opponents, plot. A full-fledged game, almost all 5 except the theme, the torch theme is not revealed.
Appreciated that you like the game. I used the naming of TORCH, which is a device name in the chamber of the facility, represents the last hope for preserving the archives via its light beam shoot up to the orbit, so this is obviously not a torch thing if taking this literally.
Of course, everyone has their own interpretation of the theme, so did mine, thanks for your words though!
game really fun .very good game
