really cool game, i love it !
Thanks for playing!
Played for quite a while, got really lost after the light went out, and moving in the extreme dark made me feel very dizzy, so I had to give up and take a break. Will definitely try again sometime soon, would want to see how the game ends. And what house even is that? Dude must be really rich having this size of a house in this economy XD The tension is great, especially when you don't even know what is happening most of the time. Anyway, a good entry!

Thanks for the feedback! You can complete the entire game with all the lights on as long as you don't flip the breaker, so I hope that helps with your dizziness. Also, maybe he lives on a farm which is how he can afford such large property :)
If you mean a highlight on interactable objects, I feel like that might take away slightly from the exploration aspect of the game, but I appreciate the idea! As for settings, it was simply cut for time. Sorry if the sensitivity ended up too high! I saw that on a handful of other games too.
Things do get crossed off the list if you check after doing things; it gets replaced after you've progressed to the next section. I was going to make it just accumulate but then I didn't have enough time to account for ever possibility, and it's still a bit buggy.
If you need help at all on your next playthrough, let me know!
The tension was insane, I enjoyed the game thoroughly!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for playing :)
my browser lagged and froze when i clicked play and wouldnt go past the title screen
I recommend downloading the build if you're on windows, or seeing if your browser supports hardware acceleration (I recommend Chrome, since that's what I've tested in.).
Sorry it's being buggy!
Really good game overall. The atmosphere is pretty spot on. I couple of times I did get a little lost as to what I need to do with the breaker, and the controls didn't like something so my camera was rather jumpy for the most part, but other than these small things it was great. And my doggo was okay till the end so, happy with that too :D
Thank you!! There's something I couldn't get frame independent about camera motion, so lagging makes it jump a lot if that was what you were experiencing. If I had more time I was going to add a few text cues and such to make it a little clearer what to do if it seemed like the player was lost, but I ended up being a little rushed so it got cut for time. Congrats on saving the dog :)
Poor doggo :( i was so stressed, the jumpscare was so different compared to what i anticipated, very biig rooms haha, i did get lost in the house many times, like the backrooms :D
Second backrooms comparison I've seen lol, and I'm glad the stress came across like I'd hoped! If I'm honest, the knocking even got me a few times during development...
The game is really cool and scary, the fact that, depending on our choices, certain events can play out differently, and the atmosphere is great too, it definitely deserves its rating!
Thank you very much! I spent a while working out a decision tree before I even started development. I'm very glad it actually came across though, my biggest concern is that it would be hard to tell what was going on.
