Thank you for giving the game a chance and for your support, I hope that even after all the frustration you getting some fun out of it.
I would suggest grinding a bit of glory points either by cutting different types of plants, going back to a dungeon and defeat a bunch of enemies (if they are different the better). There are caves with critters inside that are a good grind as well (personally this is how I like to farm GPs once I find one).
I hope those tips can aid you in your hunt for glory, but try out different stuff and see what can work for you :).
As for retro achievements if you find anyone willing to create the set, I am more than happy to share some of the variables that trigger the achievements used for the Nintendo Switch and Steam Ports, which would help a lot.
