I played it for 20 minutes and couldn't complete level 9 (the one with two vortex and a narrow path alongside them). I guess it's not working as intended? I couldn't find a way to proceed.
Overall, the game was interesting, but a bit a bit bugged (it crashed for me once when i got close to a red square)

- Review for the jam -

Controls - The controls are simple yet effective. Even though it's just rearranged WASD, it confuses you a lot. It's nice that you were fair and gave feedback to the player about which controls they were gonna use with each restart. I just wished they were introduced somewhere at the start. If maybe there were other interactions in your game other than moving, I could've given you a higher rating.
Art - It's not bad, actually. The colors are ok, the drawing is not bad, the style is almost consistent. Using a higher resolution asset was good, but it's not enough. I feel like you tried to make the game look good, idk.
Sound - The music was decent, ngl. The sound design has nothing bad about it.
Creative Badness - I liked the idea of the controls being fair and difficult without being complete thrash. Entering portals which you dont initially know where they lead to is also cool.
Theme - Doesn't really fit the theme. Only if you account for the explanation at the description (find the north), but, even then, it's a big stretch. The only next thing I can think of is the red spaces on the wall that don't tell where they take you.

Edit: I increased the rating on the theme because I noticed you also used Cubey Jr.'s arm as a "grandma instruction"

Thanks so much for the review! If I had a bit more time I'd have been able to test more and patch the bugs but alas.

This gamejam has been a wonderful learning experience in terms of keeping track of whats important. I found after submitting I regretted having so many levels and not introducing the direction changes earlier.

You're so right too! Having other things influenced by the directional changes would been so good. But once again I didn't have enough time and life gets in the way etc etc.

Oh and also about the art! Yeah I wasn't sure how the voting system would work so I wanted the thumbnail to catch peoples attention while the in-game art itself was bad. Finding out about the queue system made me realise i did not need to do that.
