Very nice idea,
it's a bit hard to get into if you skip reading the description of the game but I like it, I wasn't sure if the chat was actually useful that much - I mean the free typing, except for fun, I imagine you just collect evidence and you wouldn't even need to speak with the person much? why present evidence if you can just detain the person
otherwise maybe some "pre-made" sample questions could be useful to actually know what you should be asking maybe, but I may missed something
not sure if I can think of much else
Thank you so much for trying the game and for your feedback!
Actually, some characters are impossible to solve without asking the right questions, so the chat can be really important.
The game also allows you to win even with a fair amount of mistakes, because I don’t want it to become too frustrating.
As for pre-made questions, I’m a bit hesitant to add them because I don’t want to push players into playing the way the game expects them to. I’d rather see how people approach the game freely and naturally, so I can use that feedback to improve the core gameplay.
Thanks again, I really appreciate your thoughts!
Looks amazing. I played the demo, and I can’t wait to play the full game. When will it be released?
Thanks for trying out the demo! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I'd also love to hear what you found the most fun and what you liked the least. The game still needs a lot of work, and I think it'll be quite a while before it's fully finished, so any feedback would be really helpful!
Excellent work! This is a really well-made game, and for the right audience, it could easily provide hours of entertainment.
The menus, typography, and music are all beautifully done. Everything creates a cozy atmosphere that fits perfectly with the slower, more thoughtful gameplay.
The AI interactions are particularly interesting. Being able to question characters freely, investigate their stories, and look for contradictions adds a lot of depth. I'd love to implement something similar with the gladiators in my own game someday, although I imagine that's quite a challenge!
For someone who enjoys reading, investigating, and carefully thinking through every decision, this is a fantastic experience.
Really impressive work!
Thanks so much for trying it out and for the feedback; I’m really glad you enjoyed it.
