Well, I have to say the setting is fun—maybe I would’ve added someone taking a dump, but it works as is, haha!

The music and the game mechanics are pleasant enough that I ended up playing for several minutes.

Perhaps the only thing is that the pipes look a bit too "weird" or "crooked"—they could maybe be done a bit better.

Otherwise, well done! Nice game!

Great graphics and fun gameplay; I found it a bit challenging—you really have to manage your torch well—but overall, nice work!

In my opinion, the concept is innovative! I’ve never seen a game like this involving golf. The graphics are quite good; perhaps the only drawback is the controls—I found them a bit awkward, partly because the mouse would often hit the edges of the screen. Also, the shot-power mechanic could perhaps be more sensitive.

Very charming graphics and concept, it works well! I’m not sure if other similar games exist, but great job nonetheless :D

Thank you so much, I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Yes, the conversations are generated in real time by an LLM through an API, so every passenger can answer whatever you ask.

Thanks for the 5/5 on AI usage, and I'm glad you like the pixel art!

The setting, the graphics, and the audio are phenomenal—my sincere compliments to you! The game is very intuitive and simple to play. I realize the difficulty level might need some balancing—I was already running into trouble by the third level—but regardless, excellent work!

Mario Kats! Cool graphic and enjoiable gameplay feeling, good work!

Mario Kats!
Anyway cool graphic and enjoiable gameplay feeling

Really nice game! I think the atmosphere is probably my favorite part. The visuals, the scenery and the whole idea of having these towers communicating through light make the world feel really interesting. It's also a great way to use the jam's theme without just making another game about carrying a torch around.

I also enjoyed the gameplay more than I expected. The timing mechanic with the spacebar is pretty simple, but there's something surprisingly satisfying about getting the timing right. I like that it doesn't need complicated controls to feel rewarding.

The whole concept of being a keeper in this chain of towers is genuinely cool, and I think there's a lot you could build around it. The presentation really helps sell the idea too. Overall, a lovely little experience with a great atmosphere and a clever concept. Nice work!

Interesting concept! I think the story has some real potential, and I like the idea of uncovering a mystery while trying to keep the characters alive. Unfortunately, I found the interface a bit overwhelming and confusing, which made it difficult to follow what was happening in the story. I think a cleaner layout and a more intuitive presentation would really help the narrative shine. Still, there's definitely an interesting idea here!

Really nice-looking game! The artwork and visual effects are especially impressive, and I really like the overall presentation. The mechanics are interesting too, especially the way you combine poker hands with spells and different strategic possibilities. It's a clever twist on a familiar concept that adds a lot of depth. Definitely a creative and well-presented project. Great work!

Thanks for stopping by! You're right, it's a lot to take in for a quick session. Easing players in more gently, with a lighter first shift, is exactly what I'm working on next. Hope you'll give it another go once it's in!

Really interesting project! I genuinely enjoyed the concept, especially the weapon crafting system. Being able to collect different parts from the ground and assemble them however you want in the editor is such a cool mechanic! I also really like how the individual pixels reflect the condition of each piece, whether it's damaged or intact. The fact that you can then use your creations both to fight enemies and overcome obstacles makes the whole system even more interesting.

My main criticism would be the overall pacing. The game feels quite slow at times, especially during the longer sections where you're mostly just walking around. I think speeding things up a little would make the experience much more engaging. I'd also suggest making the inventory closing button more intuitive, as I found it a bit awkward to use.

That being said, I think this is a genuinely creative concept with a lot of potential. You can definitely tell there's a lot of work behind it, and the crafting system alone makes it stand out. With some polishing to the pacing and controls, I think this could become something really special. Great work, and I'd love to see how this project evolves!

Really nice game! I love the concept and the lighthouse mechanic, especially how you have to balance guiding ships and dealing with threats. My only suggestion would be to make the gameplay a little faster and have the lighthouse beam follow the mouse more quickly, as it feels a bit sluggish at times. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Great job!

I really like the atmosphere and the whole dark maze vibe! The torch mechanic is a nice way to incorporate the jam's theme, but I have to admit the gameplay didn't quite grab me. I feel like it could use a little more variety to keep things engaging. Still, nice concept and good atmosphere overall!

This really brought me back to the good old days! The Windows XP and Internet Explorer vibes are nostalgic, and the whole concept is pretty funny. Nice little trip down memory lane!

Interesting little project, but I think it could really benefit from some clearer instructions and a short explanation of what the player is supposed to do. It would make the experience much easier to get into!

The atmosphere and visuals are pretty nice, but I found the gameplay a bit too slow for my taste, especially since the character moves extremely slowly. I also had trouble figuring out what I was supposed to do next, so I couldn't progress very far. I think clearer objectives and faster movement would really improve the experience. Still, it's an interesting project with potential!

Fun little game! The mechanics are simple and easy to understand, and I like how the scenery changes as you progress. It does feel a bit repetitive after a while, but it's a nice casual experience overall. Good work!

Definitely an ambitious project! The game itself is pretty nice, and I really liked the visuals and audio. However, I found the combat mechanics a bit frustrating, especially when attacking or using skills. The controls and overall gameplay feel could use some polishing, and the on-screen text is often too blurry and hard to read. Overall, I enjoyed it and I think there's a lot of potential here, but it still feels a bit rough around the edges. Nice work, and congrats on the project!

Cute concept! Unfortunately, I had some trouble with the gameplay. I tried selecting olives and clicking on the pizza, but nothing seemed to happen. Not sure if I'm missing something or if it's a bug, but it made the game a bit confusing. Hopefully it can be fixed!

Haha, pretty funny concept! I like the idea of turning boring office work into a frantic arcade game. The coffee mechanic is a nice touch too! I feel like it might get a bit repetitive after a while, but overall, nice work!

Nice little game! The space setting is a cool touch, although the gameplay feels a bit too basic at the moment. I think a little more variety would make it much more interesting. Still, nice effort!

Interesting concept! I like the idea of exploring different memories through little minigames. Maybe having so many different mechanics makes things a bit overwhelming, but it's a nice way to tell a story. Good work!

Hi, thanks for playing and for such a detailed comment!

I see your point about the opening, and you're not the only one who has said it. Papers, Please is a great reference: one simple rule on day 1, and the world unfolds while you play. This demo squeezes a game designed for both solo play and 2–3 players into a short session, so a lot of story and tips land at once. I'll work on spreading them out, so you're not overloaded with information from the very start and can learn things one at a time while you play.

About the tutorial: after you've seen at least one tip, a yellow "Tutorials" button appears in the bottom bar (bottom right, next to Music), where you can watch them again. If you couldn't find it, it isn't visible enough, and I'll fix that too.

I'm really glad you enjoyed talking to the passengers. That's the core of the game, so it means a lot.

Fun little game! It feels like a mix between Minecraft and MW2 trickshots, which made it pretty amusing to play. A bit rough around the edges, but definitely an entertaining idea!

Pretty fun little game! Simple but enjoyable, and I had a good time with it. Nice work!

Cute idea with the little gnomes! I have to admit the gameplay didn't really click for me though. It feels a bit too basic and I didn't find it particularly engaging. Still, an interesting take on the jam theme!

Really cool little game! I love how the torch is used for so many different things, and the way lighting braziers also creates checkpoints is a really nice touch. Clever mechanics and a fun concept overall. Great job!

Cute little puzzle game! I like the idea, although I feel like the first levels are a bit too easy and it takes a while to get to the interesting part. Maybe a slightly faster difficulty progression would help? Still, nice concept!

Wow, there's a lot going on here! 😅 I have to admit I felt a bit overwhelmed by all the menus and information on screen. I wasn't really sure where to start or what to focus on. Seems like there's quite a bit of depth to it, but a more beginner-friendly interface would definitely help!

Okay, simple but effective, I'd say? Okay!

Cute little game! I feel like it might get a bit repetitive after a while, but overall it's not bad at all.

Genius!

Nice little dungeon crawler! I like the concept and the overall atmosphere. One thing I didn't quite understand is the movement. It feels like the map is moving instead of the character for some strange reason. I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, but it feels a bit confusing at times. Still, nice work!

An interesting little game—convenient, simple to play, and a great idea.

Hi, thanks for trying it out and for your feedback. I completely understand your point about having too many mechanics packed together; however, I had to condense a gameplay experience—designed for both solo play and 2–3 players—into a single demo. To confirm, if you let too many "wrong" people through (the game allows for 3 mistakes/choices) you louse the level, the investigation in Level 2 becomes slightly more complex. Solving it correctly requires interacting with all the available tools for almost every case. Level 2 is where I’m testing the depth of the gameplay mechanics. I’m glad you enjoyed it overall, and I’m sorry if the number of mechanics made it feel frustrating—I’ll do my best to improve this aspect as much as possible for a demo.

What it is

You are the border inspector at the airport of Caldera, a volcanic island in the middle of its long tourist season. Passengers come to your glass one at a time. You check their papers, open their suitcases, phone the offices on the island, and talk to them. There are no dialogue options: you type (or say) whatever you want to ask, and they answer as themselves. Every passenger is an AI character with a background, a reason to be here and, sometimes, something to hide. Then you stamp: admitted, denied or detained. And you live with it.

You can play alone or online with friends, each at a different station: one at the booth, one at the computer, one on the phone. The evening after the shift is spent together, in the flat you share.

What changed in October

- New faces for everyone at the booth: simpler pixel art, bigger pixels, retouched one by one.

- 13 languages: Italian, English, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Turkish and Dutch. The characters stay in your language all the way through.

- Online nights are shared: same flat, same visitor at the door, same purchases, and you fall asleep when the host does.

- A gentler start: the tutorial is now a few short popups that show up when things actually happen, and whatever they mention pulses on screen until you click it.

A few honest notes

The passengers are played by a language model, so the game needs an internet connection and takes a few seconds to answer each line. It is built for a keyboard and a screen you can read: it runs on phones, but it is better at a desk.

The game is free and still being built. We read every message. If you get stuck somewhere, tell us where: that is the first thing we fix.
