This is an interesting take on a horror game, I'd admit. The concept of slowly pulling the player towards the door against their will is really unique, though it's a bit dizzying at times. The voiceover is great too, which I think for a game jam it's always extra effort that deserves recognition. (Why listen to creepy pasta  when you are on the brink of insanity XD) Any, nicely done!

Other things I like:

  • Doomscrolling in-game
  • A lot of interactables
  • An unexpected ending
  • Itch page looks nice
  • Subtitles

Suggestions:

  • As I'd said, the forced movement really makes people feel dizzy. I guess removing the forced rotation would help a bit
  • A crosshair would be great for interactions and act as a visual anchor
  • Final screen is too blurred and too obvious it's a jpeg, which breaks the immersion of the game a bit

Thank you for checking out our game! A lot of work went into it ,especially the voice lines as there are ~100 of them throughout.  I agree with the dizzying affect, it can get quite jarring if you have high compulsion and are trying to look away. The final screen was a bit of a compromise as we did want a sort of cutscene but ended up running out of time and had to settle for something simple instead as we had ~4 hours left till deadline and didn't want to risk being late :D   I'm curious, which ending/-s did you get? (it gives you one at random)

I got the car insurance one at first, which I liked a lot. Also got the pizza one and the blooper later on, didn't get the fourth one, though

The 4th one is a checkup on your fire extinguisher expiration date :)
