A neat little platformer :)

Congratulations on making your first game. I can see a lot of interesting ideas here.  I really like the light mask on the main menu.

There's a lot of promise here! A lot of the mechanics and level components seem to be broken, but I'd love to see how this turns out if you work on it more!

Encountered a few bugs: Pause menu too large for the screen size, the restart level button didn't seem to do anything, quitting to the main menu and going back into game didn't do anything either.

I loved the flash light on the main menu though! And it was quite short which is nice too.  I wasn't making the jumps until I read the controls so that was my bad.  The audio playing in the settings menu is also a nice touch for those who are adjusting sound!

The game is fun, but I didn't use the flashlight keybind at all (I guess it was always on then.) and I still had heaps of time when I finished even tho I failed the jumps multiple times. Maybe make the battery die quicker. For your first game this is genuinely great tho!

it's a pretty good game for your first game but the white thing after you fall down the big pit has collisions so you can't continue and i dont understand how the flashlight works. also for your game to be playable on browser, for the html file you have to click on this box
