Really well done! This is probably the most chilling atmosphere in all the games in this jam. (Pun may or may not be intended) The whole setting of being alone in an Arctic station itself already gets on my nerves, let alone going out each day to do mundane tasks. The blizzard ambient noise is also a perfect match for the game, it just makes the game a really terrifying experience. Well done!

Other things I like:

  • The UI looks great (only thing that didn't look good is the loading bar for the action)
  • A crosshair to stabilise the view
  • The task list is super helpful and makes the player focus on the atmosphere and vibe instead

Suggestions:

  • It would be good to have some pointers towards the interactable object. In my case, I spent a while looking for the box of fuses, which turns out to be just behind the door
  • The jump scare after the second night's sleep is just too predictable (alongside the monster not looking too menacing), making the final payoff a bit weak. I would suggest having the monster attack while you are uploading data on the second night, or even better during leaving/working in the third day
  • It would also be great to slowly introduce the anomalies in the radio instead of just lore-dumping on day 2, would make a better scare
