How does your game interpret and use the Theme / Halloween?
The game takes place at night, when mysterious creatures come out of the darkness. The player's goal is to collect as many pumpkins as possible before time runs out, but the creatures that emerge at night make this task more challenging.

Collecting pumpkins on a night drive is a fun idea! I felt a bit dizzy while playing, so an option to reduce camera movement would help. Good luck with the jam!
Needs Improvements:
1. I wish the map was loopable because turning around from a dead end doesn't feel great. Car sound would have made dirving more realistic.
What I liked:
1. Yo. The truck design was sick and the map was pretty good. I've been to China and some of the streets look just like that. Is it bad that when I saw the zombies approaching me, I immediately tried to run them over to no avail?
2. I didn't even realize until I saw a comment pointing it out but that moon is super creepy.
3. Good soundtrack.
I tried to leave out what you didn't have time for because you'd already know what you wanna do. No feedback to be given there.
Driving the red truck through the night city felt fun right away, with big pumpkins on the road and pumpkin headed figures watching from the sides while the four minute timer ran down. The 3D city and the truck look strong for a jam game. My constructive note is that steering by tapping was tricky and I passed a pumpkin without collecting it, so a slightly wider pickup or clearer steering help would make the hunting feel fairer.
Truck looks great and the music was good for this type of game; sound effects when the truck moves (tires squeeling, engine revving, etc) would have been great.
A bigger city to explore and less dead-ends would have been made it more engauging.
Does the moon mean anything? it might be interesting if the moon was going to eat you.
It didn't seem like you could lose?
Nice start to a game though!
Hi. You are right about the sounds, and the idea with the moon was to get closer to the main character and do some attack. But at the end there was no time to implement more features. Thanks for your feedback and for playing the game!
101 pumpkins! Woo!
Cool idea, but I think it could use a bit more polish. A bit more complicated track, an engine sound (freesound.org is a good place to find sounds for your game).
Also- at the start I didn't know I could also collect pumpkin headed guys. And did the zombies do anything?
Hi. The idea was the zombies to attack the vehicle, but there was no time to implement that. Thanks for your feedback and for playing the game!
