The GBA tower defence idea worked well in the browser, with a Day 1 build phase on the checker patch and then Night 1 bringing a zombie down the purple path while my scarecrow fired. Placing with Z after a few tries felt satisfying once the candy dropped from 150 to 100. My constructive note is that the place key was not obvious at first, since A did not place a tower for me, so a clearer on screen place hint would help.
