This made me laugh. The slow fade-in to a dark room, then the man in the suit in the lit doorway saying "SHARPEN ME A PENCIL" sets up such a weirdly tense mood for something so mundane. Each instruction (take the pencil, power the machine, grab the knife) escalates until the room catches fire and the speech bubble just yells "SHARPEN!!!". Scraping the knife along the pencil in the machine to match the dashed outline, with shavings flying off, is oddly satisfying. Great comedic timing, and the chunky, clean art style really sells it.
