This seemed really simple but turned out to have a very fun mechanic. You are basically a little grey goo apocalypse trying to absorb everything. I was kinda sad when It ended I coulda kept playing for hours.

cool I love the sounds and graphics! would be good to have auto-attack because there is no reason not to shoot :)

Main menu animation was awesome.

The initial gameplay is also great, love how the tentacles grab the boxes that's a really nice touch. And movement felt good. I got confused with the "build order" screen. I just kept adding Gatling until I had like six build orders, not sure what that meant. I think I figured it out later on once I got other guns, but still not sure what adding the same gun twice did.

- The main mechanic of absorbing "voxels" or whatever is really cool, felt like everything was interactable which was fun.

- "It got Dave" was funny.

- I liked that it was talking about the scientists trying to escape but I wasn't sure where that was at, I just kept destroying every room randomly.

- The voice notes explaining what was happening was really nice.

- The final fight was pretty sick. I don't know that I was ever in danger, but it was still fun.

Lots of fun! Awesome work.

Thanks! Yeah I was super inspired by the shooter FEAR in how the barks made it seem like the enemy was reacting to your actions. If I were to work on this more or remake it I would probably get rid of the build order screen and just have it use boomer shooter weapon swapping controls.

Really nice! the weapon craft/unlock took a min to figure out but play was fun!
