Design Statement
there is a cassette sfx in the first seconds of the track, it was very odd thing to hear since you can't edit the track, that's why I incorporate it in the aesthetic of the game, hence the CASETTE RUNNER. I thought I want a cozy game to make but knowing that it would be a lot of entry like that I ended it up in the middle. a speedrun platformer. this way I can add more track and have more level and mechanics with more creative freedom.

Game Instructions (launch steps, controls, and gameplay overview)
launch - finish the tutorial - find tapes - record a run - optimize your runs until you can't beat you records

controls - keyboard or gamepad, tho gamepad is pretty buggy

The cassette sound effects and the amount of juice put into the camera are next level! Everything feels so satisfying, and you absolutely nailed that rooftop-running parkour vibe. The pixel art is fantastic and fits the gameplay perfectly (I love your capsule art too, by the way!).

It just felt great to run around! The little spinning CD was such a cool touch, and I loved all the different beats, including the jam's theme worked into the music. Really cool concept executed incredibly well.
