Design Statement
In Chinese, a term to refer a friend is “知音”(zhi yin), meaning “the one that understands my music” literally.

But zhiyin means deeper than simply friendship, it’s a deeper connection - a connection and understanding without words but from the soul. Music - a medium that does not need words to convey meaning and feeling - becomes the embodiment of that relationship.

Thus, my interpretation of the theme is “wordless connection” and “resonance of souls”.

In HARMONY, we will go through a story of an autistic kid named Ollie, and follow his journey of starting a band, and making zhi yins along the way.
