Design Statement
I would like if players don't read this and interpret for themselves what the game means. I wanted to keep it ambiguous for multiple reasons.

But in case you would love to read my thoughts behind this game, I'd be happy to chat :)

Without spoiling much, I can reveal that the theme track of the jam had this mysterious and then upbeat energy to it, which reminded me of a certain feeling. This led to a chain of thoughts which brought up a lot of deeper emotional topics, and I wanted to show those through a game.

I wanted to create a feeling through an atmosphere, and show the difference between action and inaction, beauty and truth, comfort and challenge. I sculpted this through the contrast between the sunset and the glass wall.

Game Instructions (launch steps, controls, and gameplay overview)
Just launch the game and move around, look around, and feel. The theme is up for interpretation as well.

I really liked the themes of this game, it was super simple but I feel like you did a lot with what you had, with giving the player the choice to stay seated looking at the view or breaking out of the glass wall which leads to a darker, less picturesque reality.

My interpretation was of someone who's stuck staring out at this idyllic life wishing they could have it, but they spend all their time yearning while ignoring what they actually have to do to achieve it. The way other people present the 'perfect' versions of their lives and other people see that and crave the same thing, not realizing the person they're looking at is just as messy and imperfect as they are. Overall super interesting!

I do wish there was a bit more gameplay to substantiate the themes and concept (I also think it's a little silly how small you look when you look down while sitting on the bench) but nonetheless I think you did an amazing job!

The interactivity of the soundtrack was very welcome. It was nice to play a game that left lots of space and room for thought.

love how atmospheric this is. However when I entered the game on browser it wouldn't let me exit or tab out. I had to turn off my pc lol

love the atmosphere though and especially the music <3

Quite atmospheric. I quite liked it. I think you made it work while using relatively little.
