I think the game could definitely use some sound effects! It's a fun little platformer but I think rain sounds and the crackle of thunder would really help set the mood. You'd have to be pretty unlucky to get struck by lightning this many times on your way home lol

I know you stated you didn't have time to finish the game, but I honestly really like what you have! Despite the simple look I think the game manages to have a cool looking style with the limited palette and pixelated filter as well as interesting gameplay. There were a few occasions where I struggled with the perspective, where the wall and the floor looked like the same colour and I couldn't tell where I was supposed to stand, and signposting that you're supposed to fall in the hole would help too (it looked to me like a pit that would kill me) but given you didn't finish in time I think you did really well!

I really like the art! The character design and the trees look really good! I wish the whole game was as zoomed in as the second section so I could appreciate the pixel art more!

Unfortunately I couldn't beat it, I'm not sure *if* it's possible, but I went down this hole to get some of the crystals to finish the game but I got stuck at the platform in the image I attached, I don't think the player can make the jump so I was just stuck in the pit. Aside from that there were some platforming sections that felt overly difficult, I kept banging my head on ceilings causing me to miss jumps which didn't feel amazing to play sadly. Other than those issues I did really enjoy the game! And the player character itself is really well done, the walk cycle and everything looks lovely!

A cute little game! Though at first it does feel like a horror game, I spend the first minute or so worrying what's going to pop out and attack me once the timer runs out until I checked the game instructions..

But the atmosphere is great! Staring up at the stars with that chromatic aberration effect did actually feel a little relaxing, if not for the time pressure of the patience timer

Some extra sounds would help with the atmosphere, I think, something like cricket chirping would be cute! And a bit more guidance on what the ominous timer and the % bar on the bottom is supposed to mean too! (I might've thought the bar was my health and got mildly confused when a fox took 10% of my HP lol)

I really liked the themes of this game, it was super simple but I feel like you did a lot with what you had, with giving the player the choice to stay seated looking at the view or breaking out of the glass wall which leads to a darker, less picturesque reality.

My interpretation was of someone who's stuck staring out at this idyllic life wishing they could have it, but they spend all their time yearning while ignoring what they actually have to do to achieve it. The way other people present the 'perfect' versions of their lives and other people see that and crave the same thing, not realizing the person they're looking at is just as messy and imperfect as they are. Overall super interesting!

I do wish there was a bit more gameplay to substantiate the themes and concept (I also think it's a little silly how small you look when you look down while sitting on the bench) but nonetheless I think you did an amazing job!

This game is so cool! I really love the visuals and the concept. the 3D models are great. the gameplay feels super solid! There was a minor issue where the mouse wouldn't work in the hub area for me? which was a little odd, but I could navigate to the level just fine where camera control wasn't an issue. It gives me the vibes of xbox 360 era platformers which I really really love!

The visuals look phenomenal, I really love all the small animation choices like how the character will occasionally spin around to face the camera and the sequences at the beginning and end look amazing for a 2 week project.

The only critique I have is the amount of effort put into the art to make the game feel soft and relaxing felt downplayed by some of the jarring cuts in music and sprites (the soft piano melody suddenly cutting off on the border between sections felt kinda scary like it was going to turn into a horror game lol) and also some of the background elements like the ring of turtles when you reach the big open section would spawn and vanish quite visibly. I think it'd be really cool if there were some nice fade-in's and fade-out's to make the game feel softer and hit the vibe that the art and animation really nailed

Other than that though you guys did fantastic, very compelling and very lovely to play!

I love the mechanic of this game, at first I wasn't sure about rotating around a square, but once I got the hang of it the rotation started feeling super intuitive! I really enjoyed the vibes, the sound design was great and the puzzles were fun, if a little easy to stumble your way through.

I like the idea of taking the 'highest' rotation count as your final score encouraging you to try to balance out your spins, but I think a little tip at the start that tells you that's how the scoring system works would help a lot in encouraging the player to 'solve' levels instead. Also a simple reset button would be super cool!

Other than that I really enjoyed the game, very simple, very fun!
