Nice and charming. I like the minimalist aesthetic. The controls felt a bit stiff; there seems to be a mechanic where you start accelerating when going in the same direction for a while, but that doesn't complement the gameplay, because you rarely go in the same direction for too long, so whenever you do, the acceleration is unexpected.
