If you are talking about the code - I first create long way(like 1k lines of code) and then shorten it.
I don't know how to write lengthy code. Or any code. I managed to make top-down movement myself only because I have experience in scratch.
I tried to make a serous game in scratch but this bad thing does not have enough features.
You can see my ReadTheInput project it's made in scratch. You can basically have a username feature in scratch game.
