I couldn't beat this. The first part has an insanely tight jump that is impossible to make if you don't touch the poisonous liquid.
And other than that, the game looks really bad as your upscaled character is put in a low-quality pixel-art world.

How does your game fit the theme?
Once you touch the green, poisonous liquid, you die, become a zombie, and continue to play for another 15 seconds. This death and rebirth is a new beginning born of an end.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No, I wrote all the code but I got the art from kenney.nl and music/sounds from the Unity asset store.
Huh. Becoming a zombie makes you faster, but it does not help you jump higher. The jump at the beginning(Second latter) could be made without jumping into the poisonous liquid. To make this jump, you need to jump again while you are touching the side of the platform in the air . Thank you for your feedback.
Plays well and the zombie/hulk transformation is an interesting mechanic. Just couldn't work out how to progress up to that upper platform.
It's a nice idea but as a lot of people are saying the art is a bit fuzzy. Apart from that it's great, the fact that when you're a zombie you move faster really helped but getting to the second ladder felt impossible.
Unique idea for a game! The pixel art you made/chose looks nice too, but it looks blurry/fuzzy. To fix this, select the sprites in the 'Project' tab and change the filter to "Point (no filter)". This should make the art look more pixely. Okay, back to reviewing the game. i found pushing the boxes around a little challenging, especially the group of 8 boxes on the poisonous liquid, and i could find out how to get on that second ladder, so i ended up quitting after a couple tries. Overall, this is a pretty unique idea for a jam (giving you 15 seconds to live after to touch the liquid), but i still think theres a lot of room for improvement
That was interesting, cool that you get to move faster as a zombie but you're on a time limit. I used that to get past one section but wasn't near enough to the end to finish in time.
Sadly couldn't get passt the second ladder, and not for lack of trying. The art style is nice, I didn't mind the style mix, and the controls and movement were responsive. As others have said, I don't see the point in the zombie variant, at first I thought I needed to use it to pass the ladder but reading the game description made it seem like a little death extension, nice mechanic but unusable when you're stucked in the first portion of the game 😋
I've gotten a few comments about the second ladder. I thought I specified when I made the game but I didn't. In order to make this jump you have to hit the jump button again while you are touching the platform you are trying to jump onto, a sort of wall-jump. I probably should've made that clear. Sorry, and I hope that helps
Nice game overall but the player character kinda makes the game feels a little off since I'm pretty sure they use that sprite in GDevelop or something. Still, this is a good take on the theme!
the game is very softlockable, other than that I don't see the point of being able to become a zombie, like what does it add to the gameplay? Other than that the jumping was smooth and the ladders didn't feel bad. Good try!
It feels like I turned into the hulk. hahaha
When I become hulk, i find it a little hard to control because its too sensitive to movement.
Good job completing this. (This comment happened 3 times and idk why lol)
Nice little platformer. The concept of you coming back as a zombie and still having some time to complete is a nice idea. There was some inconsistencies with the art style with some things being pixel art and some being vector but the music complimented the gameplay nicely
